Bureau works internationally with represented and invited artists at varying career stages to provide a platform and context for dynamic and innovative contemporary visual practice. The gallery premieres and commissions new work across a variety of media and presentation formats, both on and off site.

Bureau’s exhibition programme is complemented by screenings, talks and performance events, alongside international collaborations, exchange and residency projects. The gallery further supports artists’ practice through publishing initiatives, and participation in art fairs.

Interlude #01 - Permanent Vacation - Andy Holden

Bureau presents 'Permanent Vacation', the first in the series of 'Interlude' events; a three-week exhibition of the work of Andy Holden and a selection of photographs from his vast private collection documenting British pub signs.

'Interludes' are a programme of talks, shows and events occurring within Bureau’s current exhibition schedule, presenting moments of pause and punctuation. Taking the focus of the artist and their archive 'Interludes' will present a programme of works where the individual artist displays and discusses the role of collecting within their own practice, often exhibiting artworks alongside their personal collections and archives.

SKINS - Mit Senoj

Bureau presents SKINS, Mit Senoj’s first solo show, and the second exhibition in the gallery’s new Port Street space. Senoj is the winner of the prestigious Jerwood Drawing Prize 2009, the UK’s leading award in drawing, and his exhibition at Bureau features new and previously unseen works.
